Electronic cigarettes and vaping devices have been marketed as a safe alternative traditional cigarettes, and some people have used them to help quit smoking.
I’d much rather see nicotine addicts smoking electronic cigarettes than inhaling the byproducts of combustion from a traditional cigarette, with all the associated deadly chemicals added by evil tobacco companies.
But e-cigarettes have batteries, and some have been designed so poorly that they erupted in flames, shooting those flames into the face and even down the throat into the lungs.
Many of the manufactures are based in China, and most of them get away with it.
Because our courts carefully protect corporate civil rights, and corporations have the right not to be sued in jurisdictions they don’t operate in.
Call me old-fashioned, but I think corporations that hurt Americans should face suit in America.
